Type 2: McLaren tampo printed on nose.

Motor: Johnson 111 (E9)
This group is classified as having a C127, T1 body

1978: C127 Made in Calais, France, 1978
A plain white car with red, engine air-intake and red spoiler. Decal sheet supplied with car. Body supplied by UK, running gear supplied by France. Assembled at Calais factory for sale in France and Europe.

1980: C108 Produced in the UK at Rovex, Margate 1980 to 1984
A plain white car spray painted red around the driver cockpit.
‘McLaren’ tampo printed to nose, cockpit side (on red) and on red plastic rear wing.
Race number ’11’ tampo printed in black.
Further, C358 and C359,  models up to 1984 with alternative fantasy decorations.
Updated C127 body:
1/ Smaller ventilation hole between driver’s arms.
2/ Motor: Mabuchi-S can (E10). Car body motor-mount mouldings changed.
Therefore, this group is classified as having a C127, T2 body

1980: C120 Made entirely at the Calais factory, France.
New tooling created at the Calais factory creating an entirely new and better detailed model. All parts of French origin.

2007: Made in China, designed in UK. New tooling. Unique ‘C’ numbers. Various liveries.
