The Porsche 959 was shown in catalogue numbers 30 to 33 and was made in Spain at the Madrid factory. The components were sent to the UK and assembled at the Margate factory where tampo printing of all the decoration was also applied. The models assembled in Spain for the Spansh market had decals applied instead of tampo printing.

Two clear variations in the decoration are known. The word ‘PORSCHE’ on the rear wing is printed either facing forward (T1) or backward (T2). The driver names printed on the roof are also placed near the rear window (T1) or slightly further forward (T2).
