Bugatti Type 59, No.14 – Sold at auction in 2024 for £7750 plus 34% commission! From the estate of Eric Arthur Davis, a Tri-ang model-maker during the 1960s. Original box- one of two boxes known to exist. Full provenance included.

Owned by Jack Vale, a UK Purchase Manager of the Tri-ang Rovex era. Discovered and sold for £6500 in 2022. In pristine condition with provenance.

For comparison, the following four images show Bugatti Type 59 cars from Lyttleton (black), De Havilland (green) and Perris (blue and red). These were made prior to year 2000. 

Since then, a multitude of extremely well-made ‘tribute’ models have been made in addition to those produced by Pink-Kar post year 2000.
